JASPER, Ind. – November 2, 2007 – Kimball Office will host the opening reception for the American Architecture Awards in the company's New York showroom, 215 Park Avenue South, on Thursday, November 15, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Organized by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, the American Architecture Awards recognizes architectural excellence in the United States.

"The American Architecture Awards give an important overview of the current aesthetic direction of today’s commercial, corporate, institutional, and residential work," said Jeff Fenwick, Vice President of Marketing, Kimball Office. "We're thrilled to be part of this distinguished program."

The Chicago Athenaeum received a rich and broad variety of submissions for 2007. A jury from the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland selected 34 architectural firms whose cutting-edge design thinking and processes were judged worthy of distinction.

Images and models of the winning projects will be on exhibit in the Kimball Office New York showroom through December 14.
