Our design for the environment approach includes our active membership in voluntary
programs such as the U.S. Green Building Council, the nation's foremost coalition
of leaders from industry and government working to promote buildings that are environmentally
responsible, profitable, and healthy places.
We're also engaged in achieving GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification for
several key product categories. Currently, more than 20 product lines are GREENGUARD
certified. GREENGUARD tested furniture is part of the U.S. Green Building Council's
LEED-CI Program. This means that specifying Kimball Office furnishings can contribute
LEED-CI points for indoor environmental quality.
